Guerlain Champs Elysees is a delicate fruity-floral perfume. Mimosa, rose, almond, and forest fruits are shadowed by melon and exotic fruits. It is a day-time perfume. It was first shaped by Jacques Guerlain in 1904, but the modern Champs Elysees has nothing common with the first perfume but the name. Still it is also an attractive fragrance. The new Champs Elysees was launched back in 1996. Guerlain is a famous French perfume house with 175 years of outstanding business, passion and tradition. Guerlain has always used deluxe and rare materials for its perfumes, such as French vanilla or ylang ylang from their own plantations in Comoro Islands. Besides that, Guerlain has been a moderniser in use of synthetic materials: Jicky (1889) was the first perfume to which Aimé Guerlain added a synthetic component—coumarin. Guerlain has over 150 perfumes in their fragrance collection. Guerlain is an old perfume house. The first edition was created in 1860 and the newest is from 2012.
